This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website (jaykaycooperations.com and jaykaycooperations.de). The apps have their own privacy policies, listed at the end.

Hosting
This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to the server: your IP address, the date and time, the requested page, the page you came from and information about your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website to you. Google also uses the IP addresses to detect abuse and keeps them for a few months.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably. Google processes the data on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).
Fonts and other content
All fonts, scripts, styles and images are loaded from this website itself. No connection is made to Google Fonts or other content delivery networks. Links to other websites, for example app stores or GitHub, only connect you to them when you click them; the privacy policies of those websites apply there.
Storage in your browser
The website stores a few entries in your browser for functions you use. They are not used to track you and are only read by the website in your browser:
cookieandanalytics(local storage): your choice in the cookie settings, until you delete it.jkc_scroll_v1(cookie, 1 hour): your scroll position on the pages you visited, so that going back returns you to the same place.seasonal.enabled(local storage): whether you switched off the seasonal effects.paper-theme(local storage): light or dark mode of the paper pages.rushHour.progressandhangman.stats(local storage): your progress in Rush Hour and your Hangman statistics.
Storing this information does not require consent because it is strictly necessary for the functions you use (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete the entries at any time in your browser settings.
Google Analytics
If you agree to “Statistics” in the cookie settings, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). It shows me which pages are visited and how the website is used, so that I can improve it. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
Google Analytics then stores two cookies in your browser, _ga and _ga_CK2HZZGF1L, which contain a randomly generated, pseudonymous ID and are kept for 2 years. It records the pages you visit, the time and duration of your visit, the page you came from, your browser, operating system, screen size and language, and your approximate location (country, region, city), which Google derives from your IP address. Google does not log or store the IP addresses of users in the EU. This website does not allow Google to use the data for advertising.
The data is kept in Google Analytics for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically. Google processes it on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future under “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of every page. Google Analytics then stops right away and its cookies are deleted. More information: Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from websites.
Hangman and Wikipedia
The Hangman game loads random articles directly from Wikipedia. Only when you start a round does your browser connect to the servers of the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which then receive your IP address and information about your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in offering the game you chose to start. The privacy policy of the Wikimedia Foundation applies.
